A New Bridge Between Western China and the Heart of Europe
11月21日，比利时驻华大使安博宁与总领事席迪安应邀出席了海南航空重庆=布鲁塞尔直飞航线的首航仪式。重庆市政府、重庆机场的官方代表以及海南航空的领导也共同出席，为这一新的连接增添见证。
On 21 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Bruno Angelet, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to China, and Mr. Christiaan Sys, Consul General of Belgium, were invited to participate in the ceremonies on the occasion of the inaugural flight of Hainan Airlines between Chongqing and Brussels. They were joined by official representing Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing Airport and the leadership of Hainan Airlines to celebrate the launch of this important new connection.
安博宁大使在致辞中提到，重庆=布鲁塞尔航线的开通，是中比两国互联互通合作的新成果，也是比利时与中国西部地区人文、经贸交流的重要纽带。布鲁塞尔是通往欧洲的门户，而重庆则是通往中国西部的关键门户。比利时凭借其地理位置优势，已成为连接欧洲各国的重要物流枢纽。
In his remarks, Ambassador Angelet highlighted that this is the fourth direct route linking Belgium and China operated by Hainan Airlines, following Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. The new route represents an important step in enhancing connectivity and fostering deeper exchanges between Belgium and Western China. Brussels is the gateway to Europe, while Chongqing is a very important gateway to Western China. Belgium is a strong logistical hub which benefits from a very central location to connect to other countries in Europe.
大使指出，这是海南航空继北京、上海、深圳航线之后开通的第四条连接比利时与中国的重要航线，使馆对海航多年以来的支持深表感谢。尤其在新冠疫情期间，海航坚守布鲁塞尔=北京航线，为两国往来和必要通道发挥了不可替代的作用。明年将是海南航空进驻布鲁塞尔的第二十周年，届时也正值比利时与中国建交55周年。
The Ambassador expressed the Embassy’s sincere appreciation to Hainan Airlines for its long-standing support. He particularly emphasized the airline’s invaluable contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it continued operating the Brussels–Beijing route and maintained a crucial link between the two countries. Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of Hainan Airlines' presence in Brussels, coinciding with the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belgium and China.
大使强调，新航线将促进重庆与比利时之间更紧密的交流与合作，也将吸引更多比利时游客造访魅力独特的重庆。同时，他也欢迎更多中国游客通过直飞航班前往比利时，体验欧洲之心的文化、艺术与生活方式。
The Ambassador noted that the Chongqing–Brussels route will strengthen people-to-people and economic exchanges, attract more Belgian visitors to discover the vibrant city of Chongqing, and offer Chinese travellers convenient access to Belgium — home to rich cultural heritage and the heart of Europe.
11月22日北京时间02:45，HU469航班从重庆江北国际机场顺利起飞，标志着海南航空重庆=布鲁塞尔国际航线正式通航。11月22日凌晨，海南航空在重庆江北国际机场T3航站楼举办了重庆=布鲁塞尔首航航班送机仪式。
At 02:45 on November 22, flight HU469 successfully took off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, marking the official launch of Hainan Airlines' Chongqing=Brussels international route. Early that morning, Hainan Airlines held a send-off ceremony for the inaugural Chongqing=Brussels flight at Terminal 3 of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

Ambassador Bruno Angelet, Consul General Christiaan Sys, and Zhu Tao, Vice President of HNA Aviation Group Co., Ltd, Chairman of the Board of Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd, presented flowers to the inaugural flight crew and posed for photos, jointly celebrating the successful launch of the Chongqing=Brussels route.
根据计划，海南航空将在每周一、周四和周六执行重庆=布鲁塞尔往返航班。去程预计02:50从重庆起飞，07:35抵达布鲁塞尔；返程则在11:20从布鲁塞尔起飞，次日05:10抵达重庆。（具体航班信息以实际查询为准）
The route is scheduled to operate three round-trip flights per week — on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The outbound flight is expected to depart Chongqing at 02:50 Beijing Time and arrive in Brussels at 07:35 local time, while the return flight departs Brussels at 11:20 and lands in Chongqing at 05:10 the following day. (Final timings are subject to the airline’s published schedules.)
