A grand celebration in Guangzhou's CBD: first “Night of Drama” officially kicks off

At Grandview Plaza in Guangzhou's Tianhe Road Business Circle, the "Nightlife of Drama" trend was ignited at the end of the year. As one of the first national-level cultural and tourism consumption hubs for nighttime activities, Grandview Plaza launched a major event on December 27th and 28th—the first "Night of Drama" in Guangzhou. For two consecutive nights, from 7:00 PM to midnight, over 30 rising stars from the music world and young artists gathered to perform more than 20 shows, including opera, performances, and live show. These events took place across various public spaces and cultural tourism venues within the plaza, offering an exciting array of surprises.

World-class artists and a mysterious guest, dressed as the "Phantom of the Opera," kicked off the event with a stunning performance at the North Plaza. In the Grandview Aquarium, the worlds of ocean and art collided, while the Natural History Museum played a symphony of time. The Rainforest Ecological Botanical Garden hosted a glowing forest music concert, and the Penguin Snow World launched an ice rock-and-roll party. Besides, the Cyberpunk Street featured a fusion of a starry night market, impromptu comedy shows, and other activities, providing an exciting night out for young visitors.

Citizens expressed that they were truly amazed, noting that this new model of integrating opera culture deeply with plazas and venues, where people can "shop during the day and watch performances at night", has unlocked a fresh way to experience nighttime cultural and tourism activities.

A representative from Grandview Plaza stated that this event is an initiative to drive innovation in nighttime cultural and tourism consumption. It breaks the traditional boundaries of stage performances by creating a multi-scenario nighttime cultural hub. The goal is to offer high-quality nighttime cultural experiences, inject vitality into Guangzhou's night economy, and establish a new cultural landmark for the city after dark.

In recent years, Grandview Plaza has leveraged its diverse spaces to capitalize on the "golden hours" of nighttime consumption, innovatively launching nighttime cultural and tourism experiences such as "Underwater Night Stays" and "Glowing Museums," offering a blend of various features.
