City Overview
Jiamusi City is located in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, in the heart of the Sanjiang Plain. It covers an area of 32,500 square kilometers and is divided into 6 counties (cities) and 4 districts. The total population is 2,213,000. It has 7 national first-class ports and 1 national agricultural high-tech zone. It is the designated regional sub-center of Heilongjiang Province by the State Council, the core of the eastern city cluster, and has a one-hour economic circle that covers 10 million people in the surrounding areas.
It is a regional transportation and logistics hub, as well as a center for trade and consumption, education and healthcare, cultural tourism, scientific research and innovation, and industrial employment. It is a national pillar for food security. The golden agricultural and breeding economic belt along the 47th parallel runs from east to west, and it has the highest grain storage capacity in the country. It has the best ecological charm in the nation. It is the easternmost part of the motherland, the first place to welcome the rising sun, and is known as the "Easternmost Point of China".

▶Abundantresources·Excellent ecology
Jiamusi City is rich in agricultural resources. The Heilongjiang River, the Songhua River and the Wusuli River flow through it, forming the Sanjiang Plain, one of the only three black soil plains in the world. The three major water systems nourish millions of hectares of fertile land.
The total area of cultivated land in the city is 32.64 million mu, accounting for half of the Sanjiang Plain and one eighth of the entire Heilongjiang Province. The area of standardized production bases for green food raw materials is 15.60 million mu, making it the largest green food cultivation base in the country and the largest green food production base in Heilongjiang Province. The annual grain output is 23 billion jin, and the grain storage capacity exceeds 51.37 million tons. It is the first major city in China with a large grain storage capacity, capable of storing the food supply for over 70 days for the entire nation.
Jiamusi has established 13 regional public brands including "Jiamusi Rice" and "Jiamusi Soybeans", over 400 green food labels and 200 green organic agricultural brands. Products such as farm specialties like Fuyuan Cranberries,Acipenser from Zhenjiang, Tangyuan Schisandra, Huanan Dusun， Huaichuan Star Fire Rice，Fujin Rich Selenium Soybeans, and Tongjiang Mahi Fish are all available in abundance.
Jiamusi City is rich in mineral resources. A total of 38 types of minerals have been identified, and 9 of them have been included in the reserve list of Heilongjiang Province. Mineral resources such as cement-grade marble, mineral water, and coal have been developed and utilized. The surrounding resources are concentrated. The proven coal reserves are approximately 2.3 billion tons and the graphite reserves are approximately 3.6 billion tons.
Jiamusi City's Resources Jiamusi City has abundant water resources and a superior ecological environment. There are natural reserves such as Jinfu National Wetland Park and Fu'yan Haishajiang Island Wetland Park. There are 21 such reserves in total, covering an area of 530,000 hectares, including 6 national-level reserves and 5 provincial-level or above reserves. "The mountains are green, the water is clear, and the sky is blue", with cool breezes in summer and snow in winter, presenting a refreshing and intoxicating scenery, creating a magnificent landscape of large wetlands, large agriculture, large forests, large Yijiang River, and large ice and snow in Jiamusi.

Jiamusi is located at the center of the Northeast Asian economic circle and at the forefront of the major channel for opening up to Russia. Its transportation hub status is irreplaceable. It is an important node city for connecting the south and opening up to the north, and for building a dual circulation system both domestically and internationally. It has three airports and 13 international and domestic flight routes. It has three high-speed railways and four expressways, and its ability to radiate and drive the surrounding areas is constantly strengthening. The 735-kilometer waterway and 27 thousand-ton berths have enabled the formation of a multi-modal transportation pattern of water and land interconnection and connection between rivers and seas.
