低空飞行是一种什么样的体验,能够看到哪些景色?10月23日,极目新闻记者分别搭乘585501航班、G15502航班往返武汉汉南通用机场、十堰武当山机场,体验了湖北省开通的首条低空短途客运航线。飞行途中,从低空俯瞰长江、汉江、漳河水库、武当山、丹江口水库等地,壮美风景尽收眼底。
Keen on what low-level flying feels like, or what sights you might see? On October 23, Jimu News reporters experienced Hubei’s first-ever short-haul airliner after taking flights 585501 and G15502 to and from Wuhan Hannan Airport and Shiyan Wudangshan Airport. During the flight, they were treated to breathtaking views of the Yangtze River, Han River, Zhanghe Reservoir, Wudang Mountain, and Danjiangkou Reservoir.

Mandatory Weigh-ins for Passengers
10月23日9时许,极目新闻记者来到武汉汉南通用机场,在值机柜台核验身份信息、打印登机牌。与广大市民乘坐普通民用航空飞机不同的是,武汉汉南机场的安检多了一道称体重环节,工作人员称这是为了载重平衡。称完体重后,工作人员将乘客安排不同座位,并将行李放在飞机尾部,还使用网兜固定行李。
Around 9 a.m. on October 23, Jimu News reporters arrived at Wuhan Hannan Airport to verify their personal information and print their boarding passes at the check-in counter. Unlike commercial flights that typically cater to the general public, security at Wuhan Hannan Airport includes an additional step of weighing passengers, which staff explained is done to recalibrate aircraft weight and balance. Following the weigh-in, staff assigned passengers to different seats and placed their luggage at the rear of the plane, securing it with netting.
机场工作人员告诉极目新闻记者,此次乘坐的为Kodiak100型飞机(大棕熊飞机),由于飞机体型较小,乘客可免费随身携带2件5公斤行李,尺寸不超过20×30×40CM。
Airport staff informed reporters that the aircraft used for this trip was the Kodiak 100 (Kodiak Bear), a smaller plane that allows passengers two carry-ons limited to 5 kilograms each, with dimensions no larger than 20×30×40CM.
上午10时,极目新闻记者所乘坐的585501航班从武汉汉南机场起飞。此次执飞的大棕熊飞机搭载了包括极目新闻记者在内的6名乘客、2名机长、1名安全员,一共9人。乘客的6个座位分为3排,过道较宽,乘客座位靠近观景窗,没有普通民航飞机的遮光板。
At 10 a.m., flight 585501 flying the Jimu News reporters took off from Wuhan Hannan Airport. The Kodiak 100 aircraft, which was in service for this trip, had a total of nine people on board, including six passengers, two pilots, and one safety officer. The six passenger seats, arranged in three rows separated by a wide aisle, are positioned close to scenic windows which opt out of the standard window shades found on commercial aircrafts.
起飞后不久,极目新闻记者看到了地面上的路特斯全球智能工厂,这里生产“车谷造”纯电超跑轿车。在长江上空飞行时,与乘坐普通民用航空飞机不同的是,由于通航飞机飞行高度低于3000米,极目新闻记者能够从空中更近距离俯瞰壮美的长江,大美景色美不胜收。
Shortly after takeoff, reporters spotted the Lotus Global Intelligent Factory on the ground, where pure electric supercars are manufactured and called “made in China Auto Valley”. In contrast to regular commercial flights, the aircraft flew over the Yangtze River at altitudes below 3,000 meters, providing passengers a closer aerial view of the breathtaking Yangtze River, and picturesque scenery.
585501航班最高飞行高度为2400米,飞机上的乘客们不时拿出手机拍照,地面的各式建筑、大小湖泊的形状、蜿蜒曲折的道路等都清晰可见。途中能大视角俯瞰长江、汉江、漳河水库、武当山、丹江口水库等风景。
Flight 585501 reached a maximum altitude of 2,400 meters, and passengers onboard were often seen pulling out their phones to snap pictures. The various buildings sprawling on ground level, lakes of all shapes and sizes, and winding roads were all clearly visible. Throughout the journey, passengers were graced with a panoramic view of scenic sights like the Yangtze River, Han River, Zhanghe Reservoir, Wudang Mountain, and Danjiangkou Reservoir.

Teen Travels to Wuhan for Inaugural Low-level Flight
当天,极目新闻记者遇到了17岁的长沙小伙张睿祥。他是一名航空爱好者,得知武汉汉南通用机场开通十堰武当山机场的航线后,便第一时间预订了10月17日的首航往返机票。
On October 23, reporters met Zhang Ruixiang, a 17-year-old from Changsha. He is an aviation enthusiast who, upon learning about the new route between Wuhan Hannan Airport and Shiyan Wudangshan Airport, immediately booked a round-trip ticket for the inaugural flight on October 17th.
“首航当天由于天气原因,机场能见度不够,航班被取消,没想到10月23日这天还有补飞航班,我便从长沙连夜坐火车来到武汉,来体验低空飞行。”张睿祥说。
“The inaugural flight was canceled due to poor visibility at the airport. I wasn’t expecting a make-up flight on October 23, so I took an overnight train from Changsha to Wuhan to experience low-level flying,” said Zhang Ruixiang.
乘坐通航飞机对于不少市民来说是个新鲜事。此次执飞机长万才纹告诉极目新闻记者,他已经飞了8年的大棕熊飞机,这款飞机可适应沙石跑道或者草地跑道,能够按目视和仪表飞行规则运行。
For many, flying on a commercial aircraft is a novel experience. Captain Wan Caiwen, who was in command during the flight, told the reporter that he had been flying the Kodiak 100 aircraft for 8 years. This model can operate on sand or turf runways and can fly under both visual and instrument flight rules.
万才纹介绍,低空飞行高度在3000米以下,乘客能够更清晰地看到城市山川河流,通过座椅旁边的观景窗更好欣赏沿途的风景。
Captain Wan explained that flying at low altitudes below 3000 meters gives passengers a clear close-up of the cityscape and natural landscapes throughout the flight, thanks to the scenic windows fitted by each seat.
“今天的飞行比较平稳,没有出现颠簸。如果是夏天飞行的话,可能会遇气流不稳的情况,飞行会出现些许颠簸。”万才纹说。
“The flight is smooth today, with no turbulence. If we were flying during the summer, we might have encountered unstable air currents, which could cause some bumps,” said Wan Caiwen.
这款大棕熊飞机的乘客座位为6个,整体空间较为宽敞。万才纹表示,为了让乘客体验感更好,并没有按照最大载客数配备座椅,飞机上还会有随机安排的工作人员,协助处理乘客身体不适等突发状况。
The Kodiak 100 aircraft has six passenger seats, and a relatively spacious interior. Wan Caiwen mentioned that to enhance the passenger experience, they opted out of installing the maximum number of seats on the plane. The aircraft also carries randomly assigned staff members on board who can respond to emergencies, such as passengers feeling unwell.
对于飞行安全问题,万才纹告诉极目新闻记者,机组在飞行准备阶段提前了解航路天气来决定是否适航,专业的机务人员在起飞前一小时对飞机进行全方位的检查。此外,大棕熊飞机配有气象雷达、TKS除冰装置等设备,如果在航路上遇到危险天气,可以选择绕飞或者上升、下降高度来避免这种危险天气。
Regarding flight safety, Wan Caiwen told the reporter that the crew monitors weather conditions along the flight’s route in advance during preparatory stages to determine if flying is suitable. Professional maintenance personnel will also conduct a comprehensive inspection of the aircraft one hour before takeoff. Additionally, the Kodiak 100 aircraft is equipped with a weather radar and TKS de-icing systems. Were the aircraft to encounter dangerous weather en route, it can opt to reroute or adjust altitudes to avoid the hazardous weather conditions.

目前,汉南至十堰的机票一票难求。航线运营方、湖北楚天通用航空有限责任公司副总经理陈登攀告诉极目新闻记者,该航线十分火爆,到11月15日的108张往返机票已全部售罄,汉南至荆州的航班将于近期开售。汉南—十堰、汉南—荆州为湖北省开通的首批低空短途客运航线。
Currently, tickets for the Hannan to Shiyan flights are selling like hotcakes. Chen Dengpan, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Chutian General Aviation Co., Ltd., which operates the route, told Jimu News that the route has garnered mass attention, with all 108 round-trip tickets selling out by November 15th. Flights from Hannan to Jingzhou will soon hit the shelves. The Hannan-Shiyan and Hannan-Jingzhou routes are the first batch of low-level short-haul passenger routes to be opened in Hubei Province.
极目新闻记者从武汉汉南通用机场乘机飞往十堰武当山机场途中,并没有感受到明显的颠簸。对此,陈登攀介绍,当飞机的飞行高度在1500米以上,气流会相对比较平稳,乘坐飞机的安全性、舒适性都有保障。
During the flight from Wuhan Hannan Airport to Shiyan Wudangshan Airport, the reporter stated experiencing no significant turbulence. Chen Dengpan explained that when the aircraft’s altitude is above 1500 meters, the airflow is relatively stable, ensuring safety and comfort mid-flight.
陈登攀表示,此次执飞的大棕熊飞机往返武汉、十堰的飞行高度低于3000米,与超过8000米高度的民用航空不同,乘客可以在大棕熊飞机上更近距离俯瞰长江、汉江、城市、村庄等,这是普通民航航班没有这样的体验。
Chen Dengpan stated that the Kodiak 100 aircraft, which shuttles between Wuhan and Shiyan, operates at an altitude below 3000 meters, unlike commercial flights that ascend to over 8000 meters. Passengers on the Kodiak Bear can enjoy a closer view of the Yangtze River, Han River, cities, and villages along the way, an experience not available on ordinary flights.
陈登攀介绍,通航飞机的优势就是方便,楚天通航开放对外包机服务,不受民航航班、高铁固定时刻限制,可根据乘客个人需求定制。
Chen added that one perk of commercial flying lies in its convenience. Chutian General Aviation offers charter services to customers, which are not confined to the fixed schedules of commercial flights or high-speed trains and can be customized to individual passenger needs.
武汉汉南通用机场位于武汉经开区通用航空及卫星产业园,于2017年投入运行。武汉长江机场有限公司总经理周飞告诉极目新闻记者,武汉汉南通用机场是武汉市唯一的A1类通用航空机场,具备航空运动、通航运营、通航飞机总装等三大功能。
Wuhan Hannan Airport, located in the General Aviation and Satellite Industrial Park of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, was put into operation in 2017. Zhou Fei, General Manager of Wuhan Yangtze River Airport Co., Ltd., told Jimu News that Wuhan Hannan Airport is the only A1 general aviation airport in Wuhan, and it serves three major functions: air sports, general aviation operations, and the assembly of general aviation aircraft.
周飞表示,武汉汉南通用机场往返十堰、荆州的航线开通,进一步便利了人员往来,促进区域经济文化交流,提升区域互联互通,促进人才、资金、信息等要素的自由流动,为武汉、十堰、荆州等地发展注入了新活力。远期,武汉汉南通用机场计划开通至宜昌、襄阳、恩施、荆门,以及湖南张家界、江西井冈山等景区景点的短途客运航线。
Zhou Fei said that the launch of routes between Wuhan Hannan Airport and Shiyan, Jingzhou has further eased travel, fostered regional economic and cultural exchanges, enhanced regional interconnectivity, and promoted the free flow of talent, capital, and information, injecting new life into the development of Wuhan, Shiyan, Jingzhou, and other places. In the long term, Wuhan Hannan Airport plans to open short-haul passenger routes to scenic locations such as Yichang, Xiangyang, Enshi, Jingmen, Zhangjiajie in Hunan, and Jinggangshan in Jiangxi.
“为不断推动低空经济发展,武汉汉南通用机场持续为广大乘客提供更加优质、高效的航空服务,拓展航空网络,吸引广大市民游客体验通航客运、航空运动、空中游览等项目,进一步提升区域内的交通便利性和经济发展水平。”周飞说。
