Linking Brussels with Beijing and Chengdu

应邀出席了中国国际航空北京、成都双城直飞布鲁塞尔新开航线首航仪式。北京与成都的市政府、机场的官方代表以及中国国际航空的领导也共同出席，见证两条新航线的启航。

, were invited to participate in the ceremony on the occasion of the inaugural flights of Air China linking Beijing and Chengdu with Brussels. They were joined by officials representing Beijing and Chengdu Municipal Governments, the airports and the leadership of Air China to celebrate the launch of these two important new connections.

安博宁大使在致辞中提到， 今年，中比两国将迎来建交 55 周年，这些新航线的开通恰逢其时、意义非凡。 直飞航线的意义远不止于连接两座城市，它更联结着民心、思想、文化与机遇。因此，国航开通北京、成都至布鲁塞尔的新航线，是深化中比两国关系的重要一步。
In his remarks, Ambassador Angelet noted that these new flights come at a very auspicious and opportune time as our two countries will be celebrating 55 years of diplomatic relations this year. Direct flights do more than connect two cities. They connect people, ideas, cultures, and opportunities. The opening of the routes by Air China from Beijing and Chengdu to Brussels is therefore a meaningful step in strengthening the ties between China and Belgium.
大使指出，这些新航线有助于进一步夯实双边贸易关系，实现互利共赢。布鲁塞尔地处欧洲核心地带，从布鲁塞尔出发，数小时内即可抵达欧洲大陆各地的市场、机构与合作伙伴。因此，布鲁塞尔是重要的物流枢纽，也是连接中欧的关键门户。同样，北京和成都分别作为中国华北和西南地区的重要门户，也将在这一网络中发挥关键作用。 国航的旅客还可通过星空联盟网络，搭乘我们的布鲁塞尔航空，享受便捷的联运服务。
The Ambassador emphasized that these new connections can help to build a stable trade relationship to the benefit of both parties. Brussels sits at the heart of Europe. Within a few hours from Brussels, one can reach markets, institutions, and partners across the entire European continent. In that sense, Brussels serves as a strong logistical hub and an important gateway between China and Europe. Likewise, Beijing and Chengdu are respectively also important gateways to Northern and Western China. Air China’s passengers will be able to benefit also from the connections offered through the Star Alliance network with our own carrier Brussels Airlines.

3月24日，北京—布鲁塞尔航线率先首航，成都—布鲁塞尔航线则于3月26日正式启航。两条航线开通后，国航在欧洲的通航点数量将增至23个。
The Beijing-Brussels route operated its inaugural flight on 24 March, while the Chengdu-Brussels route officially launched on 26 March. With the launch of these two routes, Air China will serve 23 destinations in Europe.
根据航班计划，国航布鲁塞尔直飞北京航线现安排每周5个航班，3月29日进入夏秋航季后将增至每周7个航班。国航布鲁塞尔直飞成都航线现安排每周3个航班。
According to the flight schedule, the Beijing-Brussels route currently operates 5 flights per week, increasing to 7 weekly flights (daily service) with the start of the summer schedule on 29 March. The Chengdu-Brussels route operates 3 flights per week.
