The 2024 Guangzhou International Gourmet Festival concludes

On November 10th, the 2024 Guangzhou International Gourmet Festival came to a successful close. Over the course of ten days, the event attracted more than 1.35 million visitors, with total sales surpassing 35 million yuan. This year's festival featured 112 booths, covering 12 different zones showcasing Cantonese cuisine, Chinese food, and international delicacies, highlighting Guangzhou's embrace of diverse food cultures.

At the gourmet festival, renowned Cantonese restaurants such as Guangzhou Restaurant and Tao Tao Ju, along with local Panyu restaurants, presented authentic Cantonese dishes. Besides, the top 100 national restaurants like Quanjude (famous for roasted duck) and Jiumaojiu brought their classic dishes. The festival also featured representative foods from ten cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including Foshan Lunjiao Rice Cake, Jiangmen Pig's Feet Noodles, Hong Kong-style dim sum, and Macao Beef Brisket. International food brands, such as Latin restaurants, Sushi Sui, and the Finnish Food Association, gathered together to satisfy the taste preferences of both citizens and visitors.

The festival is not only a culinary feast for food lovers but also an important platform for industry professionals to exchange and collaborate. By releasing big data reports on the catering industry and hosting a series of events, the festival attracted widespread attention both domestically and internationally.

This year's gourmet festival incorporated high-tech innovations, such as smart cooking machines and KFC's smart food trucks, which enhanced the interactivity and overall experience of the event. The organizers focused on the theme of "Food + Culture + Fashion," exploring the cultural significance behind the dishes and showcasing the history, craftsmanship, and cultural stories of the food, thus creating a cultural celebration and a festive occasion for the citizens.

2024年广州国际美食节闭幕,十天吸客超135万

11月10日,2024年广州国际美食节圆满闭幕,这场为期十天的美食盛宴吸引了超135万人次游客,消费总额突破3500万元。本届美食节设112个展位,涵盖粤菜、中华美食、国际美食等12个区域,展现了广州对美食文化多元性的包容。

美食节上,广州酒家、陶陶居等老字号粤菜名店与番禺本土企业共同呈现地道美食,同时全聚德烤鸭、九毛九等全国餐饮百强企业也带来经典菜系。佛山伦教糕、江门猪脚面、港式茶点、澳门牛什等10个大湾区城市代表性美食一应俱全,拉丁餐厅、鮨穗、芬兰食品协会等国际美食大牌齐聚一堂,满足市民游客的味蕾需求。

美食节不仅是食客的美食盛宴,也是餐饮业内人士交流合作的重要平台。通过发布餐饮产业大数据报告、举办系列活动等,吸引国内外餐饮业广泛关注。

本届美食节引入高科技手段,如智能炒菜机、肯德基智慧餐车等,提升了美食节的互动性和体验感。主办方主打“美食+文化+时尚”,通过探寻美食背后的文化内涵,展示美食的历史渊源、制作工艺及文化故事,打造文化盛会、市民节日。
